Nick Winship - Area Manager

Nick joined Pickfords in 1975 in his home town of Reading and has worked at many locations in the South East and South West before he became manager at Cardiff in 1997. Nick then became the Area Manager for the South West in 2006.

Steve Harfoot – Branch Manager

Steve came from a background in wholesale distribution before joining the Pickfords group 16 years ago. Steve carried out operational management roles at various branches in the London area, before joining Pickfords Cardiff 12 years ago. Steve’s main focus is delivering an excellent level of service to all his customers in the Cardiff area.

Hannah Eccleston – Assistant Branch Manager

Hannah has worked in the removals industry for 11 years, starting off as a move co-ordinator at Pickfords in Oxford. She then worked for two other removal companies, before coming ‘home’ to Pickfords 6 years ago. Hannah is responsible for maintaining excellent operational standards and ensuring we deliver our promise to customers planning to move in or from Cardiff.

Hannah Liebscher – Corporate Move Coordinator

Hannah joined Pickfords straight from university 6 years ago, and has carried out various co-ordination roles, including supervisory duties. Hannah is currently responsible for co-ordinating corporately-funded removals, and ensuring that we provide excellent service to our corporate accounts for the South West area including Cardiff.

Karen Deacon – Move Co-ordinator

Karen is our longest serving member of staff, having worked for Pickfords in Cardiff for 26 years. Karen has seen the branch evolve over the years and has carried out a variety of duties including administration, accounts, and move co-ordination. Karen co-ordinates both domestic and international removals, but specialises in international as she has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in this field during her time with Pickfords.

Melissa Lowry – Move Co-ordinator

Melissa came from a sales background in the travel industry when she joined Pickfords 4 years ago, initially co-ordinating just domestic removals. She then moved on to international, but having built up expertise in both types of removal, she is now able to co-ordinate any type of move. Melissa also works part-time in our accounts department.

Chris Porter – Move Consultant

Chris has 28 years experience in the removal industry, and has worked in a sales role for Pickfords Cardiff for 23 years. Chris visits customers in their homes to introduce Pickfords’ services, and provide quotations for all types of removal: domestic, international and commercial.

Carol Edmunds – Accounts Supervisor

Carol has been with Pickfords for 21 years and has carried out a variety of roles during her time with the company, including administration, accounts, move co-ordination and operations. Carol is currently responsible for all accounts processes across the South West region.
