Pickfords Business Solutions puts Standard Life in control of its assets

Pickfords Business Solutions, the UK's largest business relocation solutions provider has provided a unique software system to help Investment company Standard Life stay in control of its assets.

The software, Asset King is a unique system designed, by Pickfords Business Solutions, to capture and catalogue company assets. Furniture and IT equipment is first catalogued by a team of asset managers and the details uploaded onto Asset King. The system captures digital pictures of each item, together with the condition and location of the item and its end of lease date.

We can capture up to 250,000 assets and help our customers stay in control of their assets so they can plan a replacement or disposal strategy" Adam Smith of Standard Life said, "The Asset King system has been a great tool in keeping track of what is going in and out of our stores on a daily basis and has allowed us to assess the condition of our furniture and dispose of items which were not up to scratch".
