Declare items over the values of £500 Itemised Cover or £1,000 Total Value Cover.

Value your goods for their replacement value at destination.

Do remember that if your goods go into store that you will have to pay storage extension costs if the cover exceeds 60 days.
And make sure you don't
- Undervalue your goods
- Include any items excluded by the policy such as jewellery, furs, stamp collections, bullion, precious stones, drugs, drink, firearms, ammunition, foodstuffs or hazardous goods or anything that is against the regulations in your destination country.
