Pickfords has a large fleet of vehicles including removal vehicles, cars, fork lift trucks and smaller caddy vans. CO2 emissions are a keen focus of the environmental team.
Pickfords has reviewed the fuel-efficiency of all its vehicles and has improved the maintenance procedures in order to achieve maximum fuel efficiency.
Vehicle training has been improved to raise awareness of best environmental practice and tocographs are monitored to manage our fleet effectively.

Pickfords initiatives to save heat and electricity include a 'Switch off before you go' programme to encourage staff to switch off printers, PCs, monitors and lights before they leave the office.
