Pickfords takes all necessary steps to comply with environmental legislation and standards and works in close conjunction with all relative Environmental Regional Agencies.

• We ensure that the disposal of unusable waste is safe and minimises any long-term environmental impact

• We ensure that all company vehicles are designed and maintained to give the maximum fuel efficiency and minimum emissions

• We will plans routes and backload vehicles to maximise efficiency and impact on the local environment

• We provide information and training to employees to raise their awareness and encourage their involvement in developing environmental improvements

• We develop management process and operational procedures to prevent pollution
