Shared or Groupage Consignments

• If you are taking less than a full house, Pickfords can offer space in a container, which is effectively shared with other customers going to the same destination.

• This is a cost effective method of shipment but transit times can be longer as there is a period of consolidation prior to departure.

For those items you require quickly, airfreight offers a faster transit time. Many families elect to take "survival" shipments of their personal belongings.

• Airfreight is charged per kilo and is generally more expensive than sea freight.

• Similar transit options are available with air carriers, including direct, consolidated and trans-shipment.

• Your goods will be cased to ensure maximum protection during transit.
