What is the safest way of transporting coins and stamp collections to Australia?
We would suggest that coins should be packed into a lockable trunk. We would recommend that you definitely be available at destination in case Customs wish to inspect the trunk and a key will be required.
Stamps should be packed into suitable book cartons, silica gel should be used to ensure a dry atmosphere. Packing would be completed with a final covering of tissue paper.
