Moving by sea or air

Pickfords is an overseas removal company that can offer you a variety of solutions.  There are several options available to you if you are considering moving overseas.

Full container load

Your effects will be loaded into a metal container and sealed at your residence. Your container will be delivered direct to the port. This service is direct and transit times are shorter than shared or groupage services. This service is ideal if you are taking the majority of contents for a three bedroom property.

Shared or groupage consignments

If you are taking less than a full house, Pickfords offers space in a container, which is effectively shared with other customers going to the same destination.

This is a cost effective method of shipment but transit times can be longer as there is a period of consolidation prior to departure.

Pickfords offers groupage services to more destinations than any other overseas removal company or group. 

Airfreight 

For those items you require quickly, airfreight offers a faster transit time. Many families elect to take "survival" shipments of their personal belongings.

Airfreight is charged per kilo and is generally more expensive than sea freight.

Similar transit options are available with air carriers, including direct, consolidated and trans-shipment.
Your goods will be cased to ensure maximum protection during transit.
