What happens on arrival into Sri Lanka?

Transportation of goods

Once your effects are packed into our cartons, they are secured in metal shipping containers and transported to Sri Lanka on cargo ships by your choice of shipping method:

FCL (Full Container Load)

For a speedy service, choose FCL for sole use of a shipping container; your effects will arrive within 4 weeks.

Groupage

To minimise shipping costs, share a container with others so you only pay for the space you use. Transit times for groupage are between 5 to 6 weeks.

The transit time detailed is for guideline purposes only and may be subject to variation dependent upon prevailing market conditions, shipping line capacity and actual sailings. Your Move Manager will keep you updated following collection of your shipment.

Can you ship motor vehicles?

Yes; Pickfords will arrange consignment of your vehicle alongside your other belongings.

Can you store my belongings?
