Introducing Adam Strickland as Pickfords’ Group Manager in London

Pickfords is delighted to welcome Adam Strickland as our new Group Manager in London, working out of the central UK head office. We caught up with Adam to find out about his new role and his first impressions.

Welcome on board. For those who don’t know, what’s a Group Manager and what are your responsibilities?

Thanks! Pickfords employs group managers to cover all its 9 regions and generate sales for their area. My main role is to manage the London Sales Centre and achieve revenue targets.

Where do you join us from?

I worked at Robinsons Relocations as group sales manager so it has been very interesting for me to see the way Pickfords works and the challenges our industry faces going forward.

First impressions of Pickfords?

I’m struck by the company’s desire to change, adapt and create new effective and dynamic practices. And most of all, I love the environment and people I work with.

What are you most looking forward to for the next six months?

I am most looking forward to getting to know and work with the people at Pickfords and understand everyone’s roles within the business. Also, working with a high profile brand is very exciting for me.

What do you do in your leisure time?

I mostly enjoy spending time with my family and my kids. We mostly enjoy activities like horse riding, running, cycling, skiing and travelling.
