Pickfords is delighted to welcome Jagdeep Gill as our new Office Based Sales in London, working out of the central UK head office. We caught up with Jagdeep to find out his first impressions of his new job role.
Welcome on board. For those who don’t know, what’s office based sales and what are your responsibilities?
Pickfords aims to provide quotations to their customers in a range of ways and I am responsible for achieving revenue targets via telephone and video sales. We use these methods for both home moving and Business Solutions. Joining an industry I have never worked in before has been rewarding and enabled me to learn new skills.
Where do you join us from?
I worked for Lloyds Banking Group as a Bank Manager. It was very different to this industry!
First impressions of Pickfords?
I’m struck by the company’s desire to change, adapt and create new effective and dynamic practices. And most of all, I love the environment and people I work with.
First impressions of Pickfords?
My main first impression was how helpful and friendly everyone is. Especially my team who have helped me settle in and given me all the advice I needed.
What do you do in your leisure time?
I am quite sporty so enjoy football, golf and running which is what I spend most of my free time doing. I also love spending time with my family.
