Wembley Sky Divers take a leap for the NSPCC

Colleagues from Wembley kicked off a new partnership with the NSPCC by jumping from a plane.

Ten colleagues from the Pickfords office in Wembley took part in a sky dive in Wimblington on 24 July, in the first of many initiatives to support the children's charity across the UK.

The team included: Shaun Grainger, Mondi Tora, Mark Fisher, Matthew Pink, Danny Long, Tas Perifimo, Shelley Banks, Lucia Trunkfield, Sophie Tomas and Claudia Trunkfield.

Shelley Banks said: "None of us had ever sky dived before so we were all a little nervous at the prospect of throwing ourselves from a moving plane at 13000ft! But knowing that the money we raised through the jump will play a part in helping to end child cruelty was more than enough motivation."

Russell Start said, "what a fantastic effort by everybody involved, thanks to all those that made the leap."

Comments from the team.

Mondi Tora (28 from Pickfords Wembley)
"Something I've always wanted to do, what a feeling it was just like flying"

Claudia Trunkfield (22 from Pickfords Wembley)
"It was the best experience of my life, what a fantastic day"

Danny Long (28 Pickfords Wembley
"What a rush, it's an unexplainable feeling, I can't wait to do it again"
