Packing your baggage

A standard Pickfords carton is 17" x 17" x 19"  or  433 x 433 x 484mm.   This is the equivalent of one standard suitcase.    Pickfords provides a range of cartons designed for movement of personal effects by air, sea and road.

Packing tips

• Distribute items evenly
• Fill empty space with white paper
• Pack books flat rather than on their spines
• Avoid using boxes which have contained food stuffs
• Avoid wooden tea chests,  they may not be admitted into your destination country

Packed boxes should not weigh more than 30 kilos for surface shipment and 20 kils for air shipments
