Pickfords - the UK’s leading business moving and relocation company has appointed Mark Herrington to the role of Business Moving Director.
Herrington will be responsible for further developing Pickfords’ specialist business moving service, as well as business development, and customer service. This is a national role with responsibility for four regions and a team of twenty one.
Herrington worked in the financial services and manufacturing sectors before joining Pickfords in a sales role in 1994. He has sixteen years experience in the removals industry in a career that has developed from sales to branch and general management in the South West. He spent 3 years specializing in Business Moving as a Regional Business Moving Manager with responsibility for the South West, Midlands and North of England. This role included responsibility for revenue, sales, customer service and product development. Notable successes have included the overseeing of some complex business relocations including: Derby Hospital, Atos Origin, and Friend Provident.
