Pickfords introduces new range of business relocation services

Pickfords unveils new name of specialist division

Pickfords Business Moving, the UK’s leading business moving and storage company is continuing to expand its comprehensive range of business relocation services and unveiled a new name for its specialist division in December.

As part of the process, Pickfords Business Moving has changed its name to Pickfords Business Solutions.

Pickfords Business Solutions will offer a complete range of services designed to help companies plan and execute workplace change projects or business relocations. The portfolio of services includes: Space planning, furniture planning and procurement, asset management, refurbishment and refit services, IT relocation, environmental reuse and recycling, business moving and storage.

Head of Pickfords Business Solutions Mark Herrington said: "Creating new services for business relocation is a natural progression for us strategically. For our clients, it means we can provide a portfolio of services to help them plan their working environment, integrated at the time of an internal or external change project."

A new division called 'Interiors' has been created to deliver all those services that relate to changing workplace interiors. Stuart Thacker Head of the Interiors division said "Pickfords' sister company Premis Transition Management has been providing refit and refurbishment and office furniture planning and procurement for the last five years, so we already have the expertise, infrastructure and track record of successful projects in the industry". He adds: "Moving these services under the Pickfords name means we can now integrate all our services and deliver significant cost savings to clients who choose more than one service from Pickfords Business Solutions."
