The move consultant and your survey
Whenever possible we recommend that a move consultant visits your home in order to get a clear understanding of your requirements and to provide you with an accurate move quotation.
The visit on average takes no longer than an hour. During the visit the move consultant will discuss your packing options, based on your needs, will identify those items that require special attention, and will answer any questions you may have relating to your move. He or she will also discuss Pickfords insurance to ensure your goods are protected during the transit to your new property.
It is important for you to give as much information as you can so that we can provide you with an accurate move quotation. Remember to show the move consultant the contents of your garage, shed and loft, if they are to be included in the move.
