What is AQIS? Australian Quarantine Inspections
All shipments into Australia are subject to inspection by the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service (AQIS).
AQIS is looking for items that may endanger the natural flora and fauna of Australia as well as disrupt its agricultural industry.
If you have such items in your consignment your goods may be subject to fumigation, other treatment or destruction, for which there is an additional fee.
