Pickfords Business Solutions utilises a number of methods to ensure that the life of your assets is extended and that they do not go to landfill.

Recycling.

Assets identified during the audit as unfit for reuse are dismantled by our environmental teams and segregated into component parts. We will organise for metal, plastics and other materials to be recycled into products for use in smelting, manufacturing and industry.

Pickfords works with recycling partners that work to the highest environmental and health and safety standards.

Recycling wood

Pickfords will send wood to a specialist recycling centre, where it will be converted to chipboard, used as fuel, or for the manufacture of ground cover for children’s play areas.

Transfer Notes

Pickfords will ensure evidence that has recycling has taken place is maintained on file for seven years
