Pickfords began a fundraising partnership with national childrens' charity the NSPCC in 2010, and is currently targeted to raise £40,000 for the charity each year, which is achieved through a combination of a clothes collection service and year-round employee fundrasing.
Pickfords has teamed up with Clothes Aid to offer customers a clothes collection service on move day. For every tonne of customers' unwanted clothes and paired shoes collected, Clothes Aid donate at least £300 for the NSPCC.
Employees up and down the country organise fundraising events every year, including football tournaments, marathon runs and corporate golf days.
Pickfords Managing Director Russell Start said, "We chose the NSPCC as our national charity because we strongly identified with its mission, to end child cruelty. The charity does great work both nationally and locally and we are looking forward to taking part in both the Clothes Aid scheme and in local activities to raise funds."
Help us reach our target by donating to the NSPCC.
