The NSPCC and Pickfords, the UK's leading national and international removal and storage company announced a new fundraising partnership in July.
Pickfords will raise funds by offering its customers the option of donating their unwanted clothing to the NSPCC. Clothes will be collected on move day and taken to the NSPCC's recycling partner, Clothes Aid. Clothes Aid will donate £300 to the NSPCC for every tonne collected.
Pickfords Managing Direct or Russell Start said, "We chose the NSPCC as our national charity because we strongly identified with its mission, to end child cruelty. The charity does great work both nationally and locally and we are looking forward to taking part in both the Clothes Aid scheme and in local activities to raise funds."
Pickfords employees will also take part in a number of fundraising events throughout the country, the first of which will be a sky dive jump in North London.
