Pickfords is looking for a new generation of removals specialists and is offering the opportunity for young people to take their first steps into the removals industry via our Trainee Scheme.
Pickfords will provide full training to candidates with the right attributes to develop their careers from removals porter to professional driver within a two year period.
A Trainee Move Team Leaders will work as part of a close -knit team to help our customers move home or business.
A Pickfords Move Team Member is responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our customers on move day and will be responsible for packing, loading and unloading household effects as well as assembling and disassembling furniture.
As a Pickfords Trainee you will undergo a two -year development programme including skilled training in packing and loading techniques, health and safety and customer service.
You will progress to driver training and will qualify to be a professional driver with LGV qualifications. We will also develop your management skills so you can ultimately lead your own removals team as a fully qualified Move Team Leader.
