How much does it cost?

Why choose our self storage facility in York?

• Flexible storage. We offer a variety of storage units for you to choose from. You can alter your unit size at any time if your storage requirements change.

• Short term or long term storage solutions. You can store your belongings with us for as long you need.

• Accessible storage. You can access your storage units six days a week, from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 3.30pm on Saturdays. Come and go as you like between these times.

• Top security. You will be the sole key holder to your unit. Our York self storage facility is also fully alarmed with a direct link to the emergency services and we have 24 hours state-of-the-art security monitoring systems in place.

• Insurance. We offer optional insurance to ensure your goods are protected when in store. Let us know if you would like this extra protection for your belongings.
  
• Packing materials. We offer a wide range of packing materials including boxes, bubble wrap and furniture covers. You can buy in store or give us a call and we can arrange to send the packing materials to your home.
  
• Discounted rates. We offer a 10% discount if you pay 6 months upfront, and a 15% discount when you pay for 12 month upfront. We also offer special rates for students and armed forces personnel.

Packing materials

We offer a wide range of packing materials to our customers including cartons, boxes, bubble wrap and furniture covers. Choose the best option of over the counter, or we can arrange to send the packing materials to your home.

Things to remember on your first visit

• Photo ID - Passport / UK Photocard driving license / EU photo ID card / NUS card.
• Address ID - Bank statement / Utility bill dated within the last 3 months.
• Means to pay - Debit or Credit card is required for your initial payment.
• Bank details - To set up your on going storage direct debit.

Additional services

• Mail boxes. Pickfords Self Store has the option to receive your mail via our secure on site mail box service. Prices start at £32 per month.
• Collection and deliveries. If necessary our store team can accept deliveries / collections on your behalf with prior arrangement
• Key holding. If you request Pickfords Self Store can hold the keys to your storage unit
• Car parking. Secure long term car parking is available. Please speak to our York Self Store staff for details.
