A guide to your International removal
Pickfords moves thousands of people overseas each year and is one of the most experienced international movers in the UK.
There are eight steps to planning a successful international removal with Pickfords
Step 1 Make an enquiry
Make an enquiry and meet your move co-ordinator, who will manage your international removal.
Step 2 Your estimate or survey for your international move
A visit to allow our move consultant to speak with you to get a clear understanding of the international removals services you need, assess and measure your belongings and identify your international wrapping and packing requirements, your transit and insurance options
Step 3 A quotation and move plan
The paperwork you receive will include the costs for your move and a schedule of activities on move day. If appropriate, your move quotation will include a number of options for you to consider.
Step 4 Choosing the international removals services you need
Take some time to read the international removals quotation, move plan and compare the costs of the options that have been recommended. At this point it is worth reading our Terms and Conditions and insurance booklet.
Step 5 Book your international move day
Formally book your removal by completing the paperwork and returning it to your local branch
Step 6 Pre-move planning
