Shipping furniture with the international movers

Loading your effects will depend on the mode of transport that you have selected as the best option for your move. 

The paperwork

As an international mover,  we need to ensure all the necessary paperwork is completed.  The paperwork you need to send includes your customs documentation, insurance documents, copy of your passport and travel itinerary.

Your Pickfords move co-ordinator will forward this information to our International shipping department.  If you have chosen air or sea transit options, our International Shipping team will liaise with the shipping line or airline to ensure that your consignment is booked and forwarded by the chosen method. 

Your goods will be packed into a container at your residence.   If you have chosen a shared load transit option, your furniture and household effects will be loaded into a vehicle bound for our international warehouse for consolidation prior to shipping overseas.
