Things go wrong when moving home — especially when you’re part of a long chain — and this can have repercussions on your moving service. However, with Pickfords’ waivers, you can enjoy complete peace of mind.

Late key waiver

Unfortunately, when purchasing a home, you won’t always receive your keys at the agreed completion time. That’s why we offer a late key waiver, which protects you against additional costs in the event of delays.

Your moving team will wait for up to three hours in the event of access issues. This convenience comes at no extra charge if you have the waiver, or £60 + VAT per hour if you don’t. 

Our low-cost waiver could save you up to £150 + VAT if your keys are handed over late. And if the delay exceeds three hours, our late key waiver will save you even more.

Cancellation waiver

Your completion date may be rearranged at the very last minute. Unless you take out our cancellation waiver, this means you will be subject to cancellation charges for your moving service.
