New video survey technology revolutionises the process of moving home.
Pickfords has been voted the Winner of the Technology Innovator Awards 2017 by CV Magazine.
Now celebrating its third year, the Technology Innovator Awards celebrate the talented individuals, teams and firms that demonstrate innovative thinking and commitment to technology to improve business and industry today and in the future.
Following a written submission, Pickfords was chosen as Most Innovative Removals Company in the UK 2017 following a rigorous in house research process and through a combination of votes gathered from CV Magazine’s network of respected industry partners.
The award reflects Pickfords’ recent investment in video survey technology which has revolutionised the process of moving home.
Pickfords’ customers can now download an app to their smartphone, which allows them to speak face to face with their Move Consultant. They can then video their home and the goods they need to be moved while the Move Consultant watches remotely and assesses their requirements.
The award was received by Business Improvement Manager Paula Bunting who championed the project and managed the implementation of the new technology within the business. To date Pickfords has conducted over 7,000 video surveys.
