The National Bank of Greece (NBG) is a global banking and financial services company headquartered in Athens, with a major branch in East Central London.
Requirements
NBG required a contractor to remove 111 bays of steel racking from a storage facility in East London, and to dismantle and environmentally dispose of all racking.
Solution and result
Pickfords Business Solutions carefully planned the removal to ensure it was completed within the required timeframe, including the allocation of a five-man crew from Pickfords’ Barking centre for the day.
The racking was flat-packed to ensure safe removal from storage basement, before being taken off site and recycled at a local metal reprocessing centre.
