About our removals to Portugal service
We provide a comprehensive service to customers moving to Portugal, it includes:
- A survey of your goods at your home or via video which allows us to provide you with a free quote.
- We will assign you a personal move manager who will create a move plan designed to meet your specific needs.
- We will wrap and pack your items using high quality packing materials ready for transportation.
- We will then transport your goods to your new residence in Portugal, unload and unpack.
- We will then take away all used packing materials.
Our transit service options
Exclusive
We pack your items at your home and load them directly onto a European road vehicle, which will transport your goods to your new home in Portugal. This service is recommended if it is important that your goods are delivered on a particular date. With an exclusive service, you can specify your delivery date.
Direct shared load
Your goods will be consolidated with other Pickfords customers moving to Portugal. The period of consolidation means that this service takes a little longer than an exclusive service. Your effects are packed at your home, loaded onto a shared vehicle and we can guarantee a delivery date within seven days of packing.
Groupage shared load
This is the recommended service if you're on a budget can be flexible with your delivery dates. Your belongings are packed at your home on an agreed date and transferred to our warehouse for onward transport to your new home. We will agree a delivery window with you and will advise you of the scheduled delivery date when it is known.
