Pickfords appoints Mark Taylor as Managing Director

Pickfords has announced the appointment of Mark Taylor as the new Managing Director of the Pickfords operating company Pickfords Move Management Ltd.

Mark has worked for Pickfords for over 30 years in a variety of roles and in 2014 was appointed as a main board Director with responsibility for Pickfords’ home moving consumer business nationally.      In 2017 he spearheaded Pickfords’ award winning apprenticeship scheme which lead to Pickfords’ appearance in Centrica’s top 100 Employers List.  Mark has championed Investors in People to drive employee development and recent focus on quality initiatives has been reflected in a five star customer feedback rating on review site Trustpilot.  As Managing Director, he will be responsible for driving quality and business performance across all Pickfords’ divisions.

Commenting on the appointment Yogesh Mehta, Chairman of Pickfords Move Management Ltd said, ‘Mark has a great track record in Pickfords and is well known in the removals and storage industry. He brings with him incredibly strong knowledge and experience which will be invaluable as we drive the business forward.  It is a fantastic time to be leading the company, following an investment of over £1 million at our NW10 facility which has lead to the best ever utilisation of the site. Our planned future capital investment in fleet, technology and people will underpin our business growth in the years to come.  I wish him every success in this challenging role. ‘
