Pickfords attends the Motor Transport Awards Gala Dinner
Pickfords attended the Motor Transport Awards Gala Dinner this month as a finalist in the Customer Care Award category.
This was our first time entering these awards and we were one of three companies to be shortlisted as a finalist in the Customer Care Category.
Unfortunately we lost out to awards veterans DPD Group, but we were delighted to have been a finalist in 2019.
It was a glittering evening for the Transport industry with many large brands competing for the coveted awards. Regular nominees included; Wren Kitchens, Ocado, Culina Group and UPS. Claudia Winkleman and comedian Omid Djalili compered the evening and the audience raised money to support charity Transaid.
Although we lost out in the final round, it was great to see other large transport companies addressing the HGV driver shortage and the challenges of reducing the impact of transport on the environment.
Congratulations to all of our Customer Service Managers and their teams who have created a story worthy of the final.
